From real world experience the tone king ironman ii is pretty damn amazing. Of course how much do you need to attenuate a 12 watt amp. So the Ultimate Attenuator used to be the goods but I have not seen them in a long time. I have heard great things about the Rivera Rock Crusher, Bad Cat Unleash and the Dr. Z Brake Light (only The Ultimate attenuator is a load box and power amp, and if you set the level all the way up and switch it in and out, it sounds identical, proving that the attenuated sound matches the raw tone.
